R.I.P. Pimp C Pimp C will be laid to rest Thursday in his beloved hometown of Port Arthur, according to a statement released Monday (December 10) by UGK's longtime publicist. The memorial service is set to take place at the Robert A. "Bob" Bowers Civic Center in Texas. The funeral will be open to public and begin at 11 a.m. Pimp C (real name: Chad Butler) died unexpectedly of unknown causes on Tuesday in a Los Angeles hotel room. He was 33. Is Vick hurting Hip Hop? On Monday, a judge sentenced Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick to 23 months in prison, close to the maximum penalty, for helping to finance a dogfighting operation and destroying dogs that didn't fight aggressively enough. According to CNN, the nearly two-year sentence for the embattled NFL star means he won't likely be eligible to play again in the league until 2010, assuming a team wants to take a chance on him at that point.
